Tracy's Child care - ABOUT TRACY

Hi, my name is Tracy Pursell, I became a Redgistered carer  in May 1997 so I have been caring for children for quite some time. I have three children of my own and understand the needs of children very well. My two youngest daughters attend Huonville High School and my oldestdaughter is also living at home. My husband Adrian works full time. We have a cat, dog, sheep, chooks  and bird to keep us company. On my day’s off I like to go fishing, camping, catching up with friends or watch a good movie.

I offer child care week days from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 3:00pm Friday . I charge full fee for absences. With regard to payment, it can occur weekly or fortnightly. I don’t like to ask for money, so please decide on the method of payment and pay on time, this also applies to signing of time-sheets.

I would prefer that children supply their own lunch. I have no problem with re-heating food, cooking noodles, baked beans, spaghetti etc. At morning tea we like to sit and share a piece of fruit. If you have a special needs, please do not hesitate to discuss these with me.

In care we play all sorts of games, do lots of crafts such as painting, gluing, drawing, and playing with play dough. On nice weather days I like to take the children outside to play in the sand pit and ride the bikes On really hot days we like to water play. On occasions we might even go to playgroup. We read stories, sing songs and even do some cooking. On special occasions  I might take the children to Hobart to visit the fun factory and McDonalds with other carers (parents are also welcome to come along).

I cater for children from 6 weeks to school age and have lots of fun caring for them too.  I look forward to having the opportunity to care for your child.
